Dr. Fenggang Yang (杨凤岗) is currently a professor of Sociology and the founding Director of the Center on Religion and Chinese Society at Purdue University. He is the founding Editor of the Review of Religion and Chinese Society and the current President of the Society for the Scientific Study of Religion (http://www.sssrweb.org). His research focus is primarily on religious change in China and immigrant religion in the U.S. He is the author and editor of a dozen books and numerous journal articles. He has appeared in interviews with The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Economist, NPR, BBC, CNN, and others.
