Dr. Guoyou Song (宋国友) is a professor at the Institute of International Studies and the deputy director of the Center for American Studies, Fudan University. He is also the executive deputy director of the Center for Asia Pacific Cooperation and Governance, one of the university think tanks in Shanghai, China. He focuses on China’s foreign economic policies, China-U.S. relations, and global economic governance.
Dr. Song is the author of Money, Power and China-US Financial Relations (Shishi Press, 2013) and Balancing Social Interest and State Security (Shishi Press, 2007).He has published a dozen of papers in various journals. Professor Song received his Ph.D in international relations in 2006 from Fudan University. He was a Fox Fellow at Yale University from 2005-2006 and a visiting professor at Georgetown University from 2009-2010.
